a new direction for the guys of nsync?

with the members of nsync exploring new projects, fans are hoping the

guys dont say bye bye bye to the group.

rumors are flying that nsync will be singing less as a group. the truth is,

ther're busy recoding thier 3rd album. however , it looks like 2001 is going to be a more "solo" year for the guys.

justin says he plans to record his own album, and lance and joey have

signed on to star in a romantic comedy called On The L. the film(produced by lances movie company, A Happy Place), has lance's

chracter meeting his dream girl on a train in Chicago. The problem is, he never gets her number! he then enlists his best friend

(joey) to track down, and the guys become local celebrities in the process (we're sure it'll be a big strech for the talented twosome).

"[making movies is] just something that totally gets my mind off

all the music stuff and lets me focus on something diffrent," says

lance. joey also has roles in two other films: the brothers and my big fat greek wedding.

meanwhile, jc, who recently purchased a $1.1 million house in L.A

not far from Britney's, countines to produce songs for other artists and

chris keeps busy with his clothing line.

we cant wait to see how all the guys' side projects turn out,

but lets hope they get back 'nsync soon!
